My ex husband moved out 6 months ago (DV). and the lease has come up for renewal on my house and it’s in both names. How can I go about having it transferred into just my name? I’m worried because I’m only on 14 hours PW minimum wage, carers payment and FTB. I have made ever rental payment on time since he left and I have bank statements to prove it. I am so worried about telling the real estate. What happens with the bond?

Just ask for it to be renewed in your name only, explain to them what’s going on and it should be all fine. If it’s a lease Renewal you won’t even need to tell or ask him about having his name taken off because technically his time at the house is up in regards to HIS lease, now it’s up to you if you want another one.

What about the bond?
The bond should be carried over to the new lease then once you both move on from the property it will be released
When my ex and I separated I did not have to pay another bond but I guess its possible to get it returned and psy another bond when you sign the next lease if thats what you want. I stayed in the house for 3 more years and when I told my ex I was moving he wanted half of the bond back. I said only if you're helping to clean the house and yards, so I ended up with all of it because I put in the work to get it returned.
