Spreading positivity

Hey Guys,

So I've recently or have always known I'm very negative when I talk to people and focus on the things that are going wrong, rather then all the things that are going right.

I think I can be that draining human, that never has anything good to say. The ones we are suppose to avoid like the plague.

I've been very happy lately, I'm on a fitness journey and everything else is going well in my life. I honestly have nothing to complain about.

So how do I break the negative talk habit?
How do I keep myself in check? How Do I start spreading the positivity that I'm feeling? Any tips ?

So my psych briefly explained cognitive behaviour therapy CBT. There are thoughts that drive actions and actions that drive thoughts and so it goes around. You can change the thoughts and the actions will change or you can wilfully change the actions and the thoughts will follow.
So focus focus focus on your words. Only let the positive ones out.
What's a bit cruel though, is once you get there you'll find that you can say negative things, you can have emotions and bad days and problems, but you won't feel guilty or dwell on it, and you'll find the silver lining.

Start with self talk.
I used to do this a lot. For example, I’d see someone in the street and think to myself “what a fat porkasaurus!” Or “what the heck are you even wearing? How can anyone think that looks good?”
Then I realised I’m being a nasty person, even if I’m not verbalising it. I had no business judging people like that, even just in my head.
As to what you actually say...someone taught me the following...is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? If it’s not all three, keep it to yourself
