Transport help

My daughter starts school this year and I would like to enrol her in a dance class one day a week. Are there any services in Adelaide that can take me to pick up my daughter on that day and take us to the dance class (besides taxi or Uber)? Or any other days I need to pick her up.

I usually have a family member who can pick her up and drop her home but will be harder to arrange this year being 5 days a week.
I don't drive and public transport also isn't an option.

There are govt services that help get a child to and from school if its their nearest catchment or its further than a certain amount of kilometres. That's all I know of.

I think there is some help for school transport, I don't think that extends as far as non essential extra curriculars though.

As a person who also doesn't drive, you really need to either get your licence/car or move to an area close enough to walk to school or where public transport is able to be utilised.
I know that's not going to help you short term but the older your daughter get the more she's going to want/need to go here, there and everywhere. You've got to be able to get her (and yourself) around without relying on others.
Good luck 😁

A lot of schools do extra activities in lunch time or after school, you may need to look into those instead.

Do you not drive by choice? I don't think there is anything only in extreme circumstances like seriously ill or childrens services are involved with your family. The only thing I can think of is daycare but not sure if they do drop offs and pick ups to extra curricular activities, and you will still need to find yourself there and back. If you aren't able to drive for good reason I would look into moving within walking distance to school, it will make life so much easier. Then you only need to arrange transport to extra activities.
