Just wanting recommendations on what is the best time of year to go to Paradise Resort in Queensland?
It will have to be during school holidays, but wondering if summer is too hot, or if you'll still be able to use the water park around Easter/winter? (I'm obviously not a Queenslander 😂).
Also, any tips from those who've been to paradise resort? Best ways to cut costs/best places to visit around the area? Anything you'd do differently?
This will be our first BIG family holiday.
Will have a 7 and 4 year old.
Thanks.

We went just before Christmas. It wasn't to hot and it wasn't as crazy busy as I thought it would be. My kids literally spent the whole time in either the waterpark or pool so I would definitely recommend going during the warmer months, especially if you will need to get into the water also. There are alot of activites on during the school holidays within the resort. You really don't need to leave the resort if you dont want to.
Food is petty expensive though and not overly tasty. That would be my only negative about the resort. We got a package where kids eat for free but we still managed to spend alot on food. There were no cooking facilities in the room. I think they had a toaster, microwave and kettle.
We have been 4 times now and our 3 children love it. Its a great family holiday, you won't be disappointed.
I think its around April when it gets too cold to swim anymore, and some years its October/November when it's nice again but this year was already beautiful start of September.
The resort will have the kids running around whilst swimming. With activity and the generally warm climate in qld anyway, I would say you'll enjoy the facilities all year round unless you are from the NT and acclimatised to a much hotter environment
