So I made a new friend this year, she’s my daughters teacher and we get along so well! But we are on totally different stages of life. She works full time, and has no kids, and I am a stay at home mum so my spare time is when she’s at work. How do you keep friendships going when you can hardly see each other lol
I’m afraid I already don’t have many friends as such so I’d like to keep getting to know her.
How do mums stay friends with non mums?

We make it work, weekday evenings, breakfast on the weekend, a quick coffee if we are passing by. Regular texting and snap chatting.
Do an activity together. A class. Course. Gym. Parkrun. Same day same time helps.
My non-mum friend always visits me so that the kids are home and occupied.
We go out for dinner sometimes if I’ve got a babysitter but most catch ups are at home. She comes for dinner sometimes, then I put kids to bed and we can chat once they are in bed.
