teenage first period

teenage first period

my daughter (12) got her first period a few weeks back. she has just gotten it again (19 days). Is that normal? Also has anyone used the Modibodi underwear for themselves or their teenager? thinking of getting them for her as she finds the pads uncomfortable and isnt ready for tampons yet.

I use them for myself and will most definitely use them for my daughters. Either modibodi or thinx have a tween range I think its called btween or btwn.

Pretty normal for periods to be irregular when they first start, they'll probably settle down in 6 to 12 months, just keep an eye on it!

I will definitely introduce modi body to my girls, absolutely ingenious!

I have the ModiBodi and they’re horrible! Worst camel toe and they have ripped all throughout

Instead of mobodi ones that are super expensive you can get some period undies from Woolworths in the pad section called lunar for about $20 each. I have mobodi undies I do find them good, but they have only lasted about 2 years they need replacing.
I am 38 and my period has been 21 day
Cycle as regular as they come, I am just hoping my daughter doesn’t have the same cycle, it’s truly horrible.
Hope it settles down for your daughter x

First 3 months or so are random. Not a concern yet
