Sex life continued as normal. Some people may have reasons to be more cautious but I had normal healthy pregnancies and enjoyed those things the whole way through.
Is it your first? My husband had a lot of reservations around sex while I was pregnant with my first. I found toys a lot more comfortable for both of us while I've been heavily pregnant
My OH thought I tasted sweeter so absolutely he did! Also used his fingers and we had sex up until the day of our c-section. I’m talking the morning of before we drove to the hospital to meet our little one. Even when I had severe HG with my oldest I still went to town in the sack. It was the only time I stopped spewing. There could be reasons he’s worried but you can always reassure him that unless your doctor has told you no sex that everything is still good to go and you’d like to keep going.

My husband didn’t and to be honest, with all the changes going on down there I didn’t want him to either.
By about 34 weeks we didn’t have sex either :)
My ex would never go down on me period let alone when I was pregnant. Then three days after coming home from the hospital he wanted sex.
He may be worried he'll "hurt" the baby if he fingers you. And maybe it smells or tastes different when you're pregnant, I'm not sure.
Pffft. With major complications both times everything was off the table from 6 weeks in. I'm thinking you probably don't need to worry about this?
I’m thinking she clearly is worried about it and your experience being more complicated does not make her concerns irrelevant.
I don't remember to be honest but I wouldn't have wanted him to anyway being so chronically ill during pregnancy.
He's obviously not comfortable with it at the moment, don't force the issue!

I’m pretty sure we resumed our sex life as per normal both times... until I was too big and uncomfortable/ exhausted.
Speak to your partner and suss out why. I think it’s pretty normal to be concerned or find it weird especially for men
He might be a bit weirded out, it obviously isn’t comfortable for him so I would leave it.

hubby never had an issue with it. I would chat to your partner and ask why...
