Has anyone ever had a false positive pregnancy test while having the implanon? Was feeling off and done a clear blue pregnancy test just to eliminate the option of pregnancy. It came up positive straight away. I've had the implanon for 4 months now. I'm booked in for blood test tomorrow. Just wanted other experiences while I'm waiting.

I've been on implanon for almost 8 years. It is very unlikely that you're pregnant, it is one of the most effective forms of contraceptive aside from permanent birth control, infact your odds are 0.1%, not impossible but very improbable.
My doctor told me the majority of people who fall pregnant while using implanon was because they were pregnant on insertion (they should test you before hand but sometimes it's to early to detect or it's missed for whatever reason) or they fall pregnant shortly after insertion. I have always been told to wait 2 weeks before having unprotected sex (I wait 3 to be certain 😂).
Implanon is also notorious for giving very convincing pregnancy symptoms, I don't know if that extends as far as a false positive but it's possible that is the cause of you feeling off or perhaps feeling pregnant.
Good luck, I hope you get the outcome you're wanting!
I didn’t have a false positive as I was actually pregnant (I’d had it for over a year). It resulted in a miscarriage and was only detected after I was heavily bleeding for days in a row with cramping.
