Breast Drains

Hi mum, I’m having surgery on Monday to remove a large absess and lump in my breast, the dr has told me I will have drains for about 2 weeks.
I was too surprised to ask questions at time, I’ll ask them before surgery but can anyone that has had them give me some pointers please

Can you wear a bra?

Are they painful?

Are they obvious through clothing or easily hidden?

What’s the best way to keep them secure?

Will I be able to carry my toddler?

Also any other tips or suggestions would be great fully appreciated. I’m not concerned about the operation just the drains are freaking me out
