Hi ladies!
My hubby has been offered a job in Brisbane so we will be making the move from Sydney in August.
Im hoping you can recommend suburbs to live in. We have two young girls, 3yrs and 4 months so will be needing a child care centre, a primary school in the near future, medical facilities, shops etc, preferrably between brisbane and gold coast.

It's a major city. You'll get those things everywhere. Perhaps look at where you can afford to live and which of those suburbs have the better schools for the kids and travel for hubby
Pretty much all of the Brisbane suburbs will have these. Some aren't very safe though so I'd be looking at safer areas. I personally would live in Enoggera if I HAD to live in Brisbane.
Lol. Enoggera is the only place I ever had safety issues.

Stay away from Logan, Beenleigh Inala Woodridge areas.
Absolutely second this and I would also add Mount Gravatt and Wynnum.
we live in Rochedale South. it’s close to the highway (but far enough away that you don’t get the noise) so approx 35-40 minutes to Surfers Paradise/Gold Coast, 15-20 minutes from Brisbane City, great schools, close to a Westfield, great daycares and kindergartens. I love it! It is Logan City but despite the stigma around Logan, it really is a great community.
