Cancelling photoshoot

Hi I need advice on what to do, I’m sure it’s not probably an issue but I have horrid anxiety and over thinking this like crazy.
My daughter is booked in for a cake smash photo shoot tomorrow, she’s just began vomiting, has very red cheeks and is being very clingy/sooky.
Do I message the photographer now or wait to see how she is in the morning? I know I don’t want her passing vomiting onto anyone but I’m really worried the photographer will be cross with me. Sounds so silly but my anxiety heightens when I feel I am letting people down. What do I say to her? I don’t want her feeling I’m unreliable or wasted her time. I am disappointed my daughter is sick I just picked up the $130 cake for it today and paid $68 for her outfit but I don’t want her being made to sit infront a camera sick and the photographer has kids herself. Omg I’m sending myself into nervs so badly

I'd message the photographer now and say ' I just wanted to give u a heads up, 'insert name' has been vomiting. Should I just see how she is tomorrow or would you prefer we reschedule for when she is better? I'd hate for you to catch it if its a bug.

Can you freeze her cake?

I’d definitely give her a heads up tonight but yes it’s fine to freeze the cake as well :-) If she’s doing a kids shoot she would be more than accomodating. Just message her and you’ll see :-)

I had anxiety issues for the first 5 years of motherhood. Realistically, bub will probably be fine tomorrow. Gastro usually passes quickly. Message the photographer and let her know. Let her know that you can position bub for her so she isn't touching her, but ask if you can postpone 24 hours if she is worried about catching the virus or bub is miserable. That way you don't come off as flakey. Xx

She's a mum herself, she will understand and I'm sure she'll appreciate not having to work with a sicky baby, that won't be fun for anyone (especially if it's contagious).
