Dear Sisters
I am 27 and I'm after others stories regarding having your tubes tied.
After a conversation with my current partner, and some thought , ive realised this is something that needs much more thought but may be something id considered.
I've lost several babys, one still birth and two boy's one has a rare genetic growth condition and the other Autism , SPD , ODD . ( a previous relationship)
This is my body and ultimately i want control over it.
Im tired of worring about condoms and birth control, pregnancy scares.
Mostly im not sure i want anymore children , expecially with my current partner due to his expectations around the birth. It has firmly made me think NO.
This is leading to a self care decision. A decision for me, a decision to have control over my body.
My question is has anyone around my age had their tubes tied, pros, cons, stories, hormone troubles etc ? Body changes .

You miscarried a child with autism, SPD and ODD? How would you know that? Sorry... Maybe I'm being a bit daft but I'm confused with what I just read?
I would assume the autistic child was a live birth and it just needs some editing.
I read it as several losses, maybe miscarriages, a still birth and she has two boys now one with a genetic condition and the other with behavioural issues
She says "has" these conditions and not "had" so that says to me they're her boys that are alive now.
My mum was 24 my cousin was 26, I was in my early thirties.
My mum had issues unrelated to her tubal ligation, caused by scarring in her uterus due to a couple of nasty emergency c-sections.
I’ve had no issues with mine, I’m in my 40s now. Just going through peri-menopause which is right on target for the women in my family.
I was in my early 30s. No regrets. No side effects. Actually took a lot of stress away and I started enjoying my sex life more ;) In my 50s now and the menopause journey has not been effected. Take control. It is your body and also your life.
