Hi Ladies đ
Iâm after some advice on MCNâs. Second bub on the way & I really want to give them a try but I donât know where to start!
There are many different types, & I want to know exactly what needs washing, just the material insert? Can you still put a disposable liner in also for the number 2âs?
What was your experience with them fitting a newborn & as they grew? Is it worth it? What brand did you use? Cost?
I would look at getting a âstarter packâ first but even they are so expensive! Over time I think it will be worth it though.. plus the environmental factor. I would still use disposables some of the time..
I have researched online a fair bit, watched the videos on how you put them on etc. but just after some personal opinions & experience! Thank you!

Have a look at the âclean cloth nappies down underâ website and fb page, they have spectacular resources on how best to wash and maintain your investment. We use to have smell issues and staining but havenât since they helped out!
There is also a fb page for buying if you want to try out different brands. I personally prefer all in one types, but I have a dryer so donât have an issue with drying time. I have bought most of mine as cheapies from Ali express and have never had a problem. I havenât done from newborn (until next month) so I have invested in some small sand will see how we go.
Itâs not as hard/ scary as everyone seems to think it is, just one extra load of washing which isnât that bad
