My soon to be 11yr old son is getting pimples and blackheads - can anyone recommend a good face wash? I'm worried the ones for teens will be too harsh?

As a skin care professional, I offer this advice to you. The skin has an acid mantle, a layer of acid which keeps bacteria out of the skin structure. When the pH of your skin is imbalanced, the acid mantle can not function, hence letting bacteria into the skin. There are a number of scenarios which can create this. So what to do? Go grab some pHysohex facial cleanser from your pharmacist ($10-12) which will restore the pH balance of the skin and introduce anti-bacterial to the skin which will help to minimize break outs. Following a pHysohex cleanse, i recommend Pure Aloe Vera to be applied to the skins surface as it is naturally Anti-Bacterial and Anti-Microbial to assist keeping the pores closed and clean post cleanse. For more severe cases, seek out a Skin Treatment Plan from your local Beauty Therapy Salon as your son may need some extractions, blue light therapy to kick start the process and/or speak with your GP - All the best!
Thank you so much for the great information 😊 much appreciated!
