NOTHING WORKS! we must have a super strain of them!

Use the basic pyrethenol???? wash every day for 2 weeks. Gone! I also chucked in 2 of one of the oil treatments that goes on dry hair. Sneak some tea tree oil in your conditioner to keep them away once they're gone.

Tea tree oil? You didn't list that, it's the one that is always recommended. Make sure you're washing and spraying everywhere else as well.

Crew cuts. I shit you not, they drove me FKN insane so it was shaved heads until primary school was over - me included.

I used Full Marks Solution (got it at IGA) it has worked wonders for my girls!
When I was younger my parents shaved my head. It was humiliating, I was bullied a lot and it didn't end up helping as I got them back as soon as my hair grew.

You just have to be so persistent.
The eggs are virtually indestructible so you need to get those out, cheap conditioner and fine tooth comb the hair every night for the next 6 to 8 weeks (that should cover you for the next few life cycles).
Every time your kids get nits, notify their school/daycare. They're supposed to send home a notice that hopefully encourages other parents to check and treat their kids hair as necessary.
Vacuum your couches and car seats too, as well as washing bedding. People say they don't live outside the head but they do, my MIL always uses to have them and I was horrified to find nits climbing over my couch one day after she'd left.

Use flea control, the one you put onto your dogs. My chemist says the only reason they don't recommend it is because they're not allowed to sell it. Have used it before and had no nits come back for ages. I still use it.

My step daughter had them constantly when she was younger and the only thing that worked after putting a treatmeant through was literally picking the eggs out one by one, with my fingers ! tedious but effective. I’d do it every day just like 10 mins a day til there were no eggs left .
