Hi where do wives/gf buy clothes for their partner. My partner clothes are quiet daggy and he really needs a wardrobe update. He will never buy clothes for himself so that’s why I’d ask here. He is quiet fussy likes surf brands, nothing skinny leg or cuffed leg in way of jeans and shorts below the knee.

Places like jeanswest, jay jays, Connor, city beach.
I find jay jays has the best casual shorts, jeanswest and Connor for shirts and jeanswest for denim shorts and jeans. City Beach for board shorts and surf gear
City Beach
Quite daggy but likes surf brands and particular styles? Is he daggy because you don't like his style or because his clothes are old and faded? Are they old because he prioritises something else to spend money on? I only ask because the only couple I knew where the wife bought his clothes are now divorced and he hated her spending money on clothes he didn't choose when he didn't want them because they were meant to be prioritising other things.
I think it depends on his age. If he's under 30 he can probably still get away with the surfy brands if that's what he likes. If he's heading towards his 40s he should probably start looking at more subtle styles unless he's going for the Shane Warne look (aka mutton dressed as lamb).
Jeans don't have to be skinny leg or cuffed to be stylish - the key is finding the right fit (Comfort is usually the winning factor for men too - hell comfort is the winning factor for me 😂). I'd go to a specialty jeans shop and get him to try a few styles until he finds some he likes.
T shirts I think less is more for grown men. I would steer away from stupid slogans, big logos or brands plastered all over, character tees etc. Plain v neck tees are quite on trend for men at the moment and you can buy them basically anywhere from Kmart to designer stores.
Perhaps look in shops like YD, Connor, Man to Man (if they still exist near you lol) for a few dressy shirts for going out.
All that said and done though, if he's not keen on a wardrobe make over I wouldn't waste my time or money, especially if his clothes are still OK just out of style - just accept he's a massive dag and you'll both be happier (trust me I know from experience, I've been trying and failing to get my hubby out of trackpants since I met him in 2006 lol).
If they're really damaged and about to fall off his body, you probably need to insist he comes shopping with you for new clothes!
Let him wear what he wants.
