Child urinating in strange places

Hi, a bit of background info -

My 7 year old boy was officially diagnosed with ADHD, ODD and anxiety at the beginning of the year. He is currently on Vyvanse for the ADHD which helps him between the hours of 9am-3pm. When it is out of his system though, he is wild! I am at my wits end with him and feel so sorry for my neighbours who would hear him screaming and crying constantly. (nothing is ever wrong, he just hates not getting his way and is very violent towards his younger brother).

This past week though he has been extremely difficult. Refusing medication, being extra defiant and not liking the word no.
He has recently began urinating in strange places. The other night he did it in a cup in the bath, then another time in the wastebasket next to the toilet. Numerous times in his and his brothers bedrooms, against the wall and clothes drawers, in his brothers toy tub full of stuffed animals, in their shoes, and just in the middle of his room. He is not sleep walking, he is aware of what he is doing! I just don't know what the heck to do about it or what could be making him carry on like this.

He has an appointment with his paediatrican and psychologist in two weeks, but I guess I just wanted to know if any other kids have been through this urinating issue??

Are you sure he's not sleep walking? My son used to do similar as far as the peeing goes. He would look awake and sometimes even converse with you. The next day he has no recollection at all. It would happen when he was stressed about things, if we were moving house, when his dad and I split, something happening at school.

Have you looked up the side affects of this medication?

If he’s worse on it, then call the paed straight away.
