My son is 5, and I've decided to dress him as one of his favourite characters for Halloween, but my partner thinks it's silly and it should be a scary related costume. So my question is, does it really matter? Who does scary and who doesn't? I'm curious to know lol it's not everyday we get to dress up!

doesn't matter, if you are into Halloween you wear what you feel like wearing.
Spooky but in the big scheme of things it doesnt matter as long as your kid has fun
Whatever my kids choose. It's supposed to be a fun day so let them have fun!
My son (3) doesn’t like being scared so he’s going as a ninja turtle. Lol.
I'd just do whatever your son wants.
