My 4yr old son was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. He gets an attack every fortnight which lasts afew days. We've been seeing a specialist for 6mnths now and he keeps trying different antibiotics but nothing seems to be helping so far. Has anyone elses child been diagnosed with this and has a treatment that seems to work???

Is it definitely bronchiolitis and not asthma or anything else, have they done any testing? Spirometery, X-rays, swabs, sputum specimens.
Steroids could be the better option than antibiotics.
I would also be requesting a second opinion
