For mums of preterm labour and shortened cervix

Hi Mum's

First pregnancy- my water broke at 34wks, baby was born at 35wks. I carried really low, but had no real warning of preterm labour, seemed completely out of the blew.

Second pregnancy- carrying really low again. 21 wks cervix was measuring 2.7cm, 28wks cervix is measuring 1.9cm. Doctors have now put me on progesterone pessaries to hopefully strengthen my cervix.

Has anyone been in a similar situation what was your outcome, did you make it to full-term, did progesterone pessaries help you?

I understand that every person and pregnancy is different, just hoping to hear some stories.

Thank you x

Can you look into having a cerclage?

Original poster here- I don't fit the criteria of 24weeks, 1.5cm. I'm not sure if they will do the cerclage if my cervix shortens to 1.5cm. My next appointment is at 32wks.
