I am married and have an a primary aged child to an ex , toddler and baby to my husband.
My husband financially raises my oldest and she lives with us and visits her father.
We have been talking about a Will incase anything was to happen to me as I know there would a massive fight on my ex wanting my daughter and I'm afraid that he would cut ties with my husband and my other kids. Is there anything legally binding that my oldest would stay with my husband if anything was to ever happen to me or is a will enough for this to not happen?
Who chooses who my child lives with if I'm gone?

You need accurate legal advice
I'm not sure but I know it was always on my mothers will that myself and siblings could not and would not be seperated (we have different fathers and same situation could have happened).
You need to see someone who specialises in legal things like this. Otherwise you could get wrong advice from this post.
Definitely get proper legal advice. My sister in law is a lawyer specialising in deceased estates - a will is not enough
Any will can be contested. I had the similar worries with regards to my husband and I dying and our kids being sent to live with the grandparents who were diagnosed mentally unwell. Legal advice said I can make a will with my "preferences" but the courts would go through and assess all options if both parents die and give custody to the best suited option. If only one parent died, they would assess the other parent and give custody to them IF there aren't any reason they shouldn't be given custody.
