Hi ladies,
This morning I have taken a pregnancy test and there was a faint pink line, from previous pregnancies I know this is definitely a positive test. Downside - I have been taking duromine for a couple of months now, going by my cycle I would only be a few weeks pregnant but I'm freaking out ! I won't take them again but am scared the damage has already been done as it is classed as a class D drug in pregnancy I have heard.
Has anyone else been in this situation and gone on to have a healthy baby?
Of course I will go to my doctor straight away but would like to hear from other women.
Please no judgement, I already feel like a horrible person :(

Honestly, do not even worry at all! The "baby" isn't even a baby yet, it's just a tiny little speck/cell that has started growing and it is just developing, it isn't relying on you a whole lot yet as it's doing it's own thing before it becomes a foetus. I had a hugeeeee night of partying 2 nights before I got a positive, got absolutely smashed and I was panicking. My doctor reassured me and I have had a healthy pregnancy the whole way through :)
I did not take duromine while pregnant, however i was drinking almost every 2nd day for 5 weeks and smoking ciggarettes before i found out i was pregnant.. it was a suprise pregnancy and when i found out i was already 5 weeks pregnant..the day i foind out i stopped smoking and drinking and i was so worried as i thought i could have done damage to my baby.. fast forward 3 years and i have a very healthy and smart little girl..try not to be too hard on yourself.. alot of women do things 9before finding out they are pregnant..congratulations and i hope all the best for you and your baby....also duromine is a category b3 in pregnancy.
The week before i found out i was pregnant i had a big night out, involved drinking over 1litre of spirits and drugs as well, including speed. In fact my pregnancy was my wake up call. I went on to have a perfectly healthy baby. My other pregnancies I've had drinks before finding out, and gone on to have healthy babies. Talk to your dr to be sure, but being this early i would say u should be ok.
