High heels

Hi IM's,

I need your help! I am going to get married next month and I have never worn heels before. I have found strappy heels that are 10cm high and I love them but I am totally freaking out about wearing them all day long. Do u recommend wearing gel pads, shoe grippers, shoe stoppers, arch support etc to make them more comfortable? If so, what brand do u recommend? I have done so much research but just don't know what to get.
I have been practicing in them and I'm getting better but my feet and ankles are burning after 5 mins of wearing them.
I know I have the option of not wearing heels but I really want to. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks

Get ALL the things, try them all out. It's the only way to know what works for you and the shoe. Each shoe is going to be different. The brands are all much of a muchness.

I'd also have someone sneak in a pair of ballet flats or similar for the reception. You don't want to miss out on dancing because of your shoes. OH&S rules in most venues won't allow you to go bare footed.

Im not an expert in highg heels. But i would wear them at yome all the time to wear them in and practice walking in them so you dnt fall over or wobble and they dont kill your feet. Then I would wear them and also have a spare pair of comfies to change into for the in between bits or the reception.

Yes i should add I wouldnt wear them myself. Especially on your wedding day. Not the day to try out crazy high heels for the first time. You dont want to wreck your feet and be in agony and unable to walk.

Don't hurt yourself over heals. Wear shorter heals. I have only ever been able to use the very short ones. Why hurt yourself over them.

Get shoes with shorter heels or take some flats to change into. You might even end up taking your shoes off altogether.
I can wear heels for a few hours max then my feel are just too sore. Don't ruin your night for it.
Having said that you asked about the things you can add to make them more comfortable. I generally add the gel inserts. I also only wear them for 2 - 3 hours and take the heels off.
I don't know how those women walk around in heels all day every day! It's crazy.

Don't buy heels if you can't walk in them. Especially if your dress is going to cover them.
Get something comfortable. A smaller heel, a wedge, flats.

Get some of the squishy gel type ones for the balls of your feet and for your heels. Those are the spots that'll be taking most of your weigh. Keep a few spare sets on the fridge at
Your reception if possible so you can change them (the cold gel is pure heaven on sore burning feet). I'd definitely get a comfy pair to change into though, you don't want almighty blisters on your honeymoon lol
