Hi, I'm the mum who posted about my son loving pink. Thanks for all the replys. The reason it feels depressing is because of how the clothes are labled boys and girls on the tags. I always get asked "did he choose it himself" as if it's the worst thing in the world to buy girl labled clothing. I let him choose what he liked today and not surprising he ended up with most of the stuff from the girls section. Lots of bunny prints and pink stuff. There wasn't alot of choice in the boys section. He even picked a dress and my mum made a really mean comment over text that he can now be a tranny walking his doll along. Was not impressed. I feel sick my own family are constantly picking on anything that isn't boyish. Why do people act like it's murder if you choose girl labled stuff for a boy unless they asked for it. Like "omg putting boys in girls stuff is child abuse... unless they want it" .. then it's ok apparently. Otherwise we should all conform and dress our children how society dictates. I'm sick of it. My family act like I'm forcing him in this stuff but I have previously mostly bought from the boys section it was only after him requesting pink that I decided he was old enough to choose his own clothes. He's 5. I just don't understand why boys and men in other countries can wear male dresses and no one in the rest of the world really bats an eye but if a boy in australia for example wears a dress they are instantly labled transgender.

Just wait until spring/summer. Best and less normally have lots of pink and purple in the boys section.
I've gotten a few purple item for my sons there before. :)
Chin up, and do what pleases your son. Not others.
I get it Totally!
My son loves wearing nail polish, having his hair done and trying on makeup. He is 22. He also loves car races and x-games.
When are we going to stop with this gender shit.
