Hi im stressing a little. Mothers day i got a postive pregnancy test. This is my second pregnancyand it has taken 5 years to conceive. Went to the doctors mondays and got a referral for bloods and ultrasound. Went for my ultrasound the next day and we seen a very time shaddow of a sac the tech even said thats what it looks like but still to early to tell. Then i went for my blood test after. i had doctors app this morning (thursday)for results HCG is sitting at 969 and we expect me to ve around 4wks i dont remember dates of ovulation or last period as after 5 years u loose track... So all was good doctor was happy. Now she has just called me with the report of the ultrasound stating there is no signs of pregnancy yet. But like thats not what the tech said nor what my partner or me seen she pointed the sac looking thing out. I have to repeat the blood test. But im stressing now like does this sound okay? Am i stressing for nothing. Sorry for the long post. Oh and i have morning sickness and fatigued thats why i tested.

Sometimes I wish it was the good old days when you got one ultrasound around 16weeks and you had one blood test to confirm pregnancy. It was much less stress.
It sounds like it's all very early days and a lot of doctors don't bother with ultrasounds until 8 weeks because you just can't see anything.

Hi yes they think im only 4 weeks. And yes tell me about it with my son it was a pos pregnancy test then ultrasound a few weeks later. Thank you for the advice x
Totally normal - as a sac doesn't confirm a viable pregnancy. I had the exact same thing and at the 6th week mark we repeated the ultrasound to check for a fetal pole :) good luck!
