Does anyone have a hyperactive thyroid?

Hi Everyone :)
I have received some blood test results today which confirm a hyperactive thyroid. My 2nd baby is now 4 months old and I'm exclusively breastfeeding. I have never had any issues medically at all besides this. I have never taken ongoing medication for anything :)
Does anyone have experience with this and taking medication while breastfeeding? Il be doing more bloody tests Monday and il be seeing my dr again late next week.
