Does anyone else have scars that ache in cold weather? I had some surgery done in my wrist June last year for De Quervains tenosynovitis. The past week or so since the cold weather started coming in I've found my scar gets sore and aches and my wrist is getting stiff even though I've continued with my hand exercises well after the hand therapist said I was all good. Rain isn't an issue just cold. Should mention I live in country Victoria so cold is really cold!

Yes, I have an elbow I broke years ago. It's always a little stiff and achy in winter. It's not uncommon but always best to speak to your GP.
Yep, I got a very terribly achy scar after surgery. I found it's the worst when they've cut through muscle. I went to my GP and ended up getting a few rounds of Lyrica and that eased things a lot - I definitely felt the difference. They can be apprehensive about prescribing it as it can be addictive, however I just weaned myself off of it slowly and had no issues whatsoever.
I've got a scar on my heel from being impaled by a long sliver that was sti'll attached to glass bottom on a broken beer bottle. Nearly 3 years ago it happened and it still aches from time to time. Especially if I've been on my feet all day
You may find it's the ligaments or injury itself that aches.
I broke my ankle in 3 places almost 4 years ago - ended up with surgery to insert a plate and 4 screws.
It still aches during winter if it's very cold or I don't keep my ankle warm with ugg boots or socks.
