Newborn and bridesmaid

My second child will be around 8 weeks old when my sister gets married. I am a bridesmaid. She is having a huge wedding and we are really involved in the planning. Has anyone successfully been involved with a wedding with a toddler and a new born? If I tell her I have to step down she will understand and be fine with it (she's been a really easy bride)

Yes, but it depends on expectations. Even if weddings tend to not have the big expectations I see on other circles. In our circle the bridesmaids duties tend to be to attend dress fittings, hens night, and attend on the wedding day to get hair makeup done and of course the actual wedding. So pretty easy to do.
We had the baby sitter in a hotel room at the wedding venue so I could still feed.

I had a 6 week old at my brothers wedding I was bridesmaid.

A friend looked after him at the ceremony so family were not interrupted.

I expressed milk and fed him after dinner a huge feed.

They were only young no kids. She was not happy about the baby taking some of her lime light as we had travelled from another state.

But she is still like it 7 years later
