Diva cup

Does anyone have a diva cup? I ordered one and it arrived today, the model 2 since it advises that one after kids and it's alot bigger than I expected, is it difficult to put in?
Also what soap do you use to clean it? Not spending $20 on diva wash lol

I have a different brand, but it also seemed huge to me when I first got it! It took a few months to really get the hang of how to fold it, how to position it properly etc. I use the 'punch down fold' and you don't slide it in very far (just past the entrance) before letting it pop open. I use Summer's Eve (a 'feminine' wash in the pad/tampon aisle) to clean it in the shower every morning. I probably should be sterilising it by boiling at the end of every cycle but I've been lazy. I've had mine for well over a year and I can't see myself going back to tampons. It's so much less wasteful, it's more convenient, it's cheaper, it's more reliable. Look up some YouTube videos, you'll come across a teenage girl (British, I think) who's posted lots of helpful stuff. Good luck ?

I have it. It's great. Took me a few periods to get the hang of getting it in and opened properly. But now it's a breeze. It's so good not having to worry about carrying enough tampons etc. the trick is not to collapse it too tight for insertion, otherwise it doesn't pop open properly. It can be frustrating when you can't get it, but don't give up, once you get the hang of it you won't regret it.

I just wash it with ordinary soap. I give it a really good scrub in the shower with soap every night.
