We have a beautiful 2.5 year old boy. It is looking like we could be pregnant again (unplanned) and I am freaking out. I am over just over 35, had pre - eclampsia which is likely to happen again as it seems to be a hereditary thing. Things with my partner are far from perfect, we are not in a good place financially but sorting it out. I worry we can't afford another baby, I worry something could happen to me and god forbid my son has no mother, I worry something could happen to the baby....
Is it normal to be this anxious? I feel on verge of panic attacks and tears constantly.

I don't have much advice just wanted to say that I had pre eclampsia with my first child & did not have it with my second. I was a little anxious about getting it again but not to the point of panic attacks. See your GP and ask to be referred to a councilor to speak to. I found that really helpful after I had PND with my first. Xxx good luck
Save the anxiety and take a test. Thats what people usually do?
It is normal to be a little anxious (I'm pregnant with a planned second with a 2.5 year old and I still have moments of freaking out!). It sounds like this is more then a little anxiety though.
Speak to your GP or Midwife. You may be suffering from pre-natal anxiety which is very common and there are ways they can help you.
As for PreEclampsia, that's a tough! Again, speak to your midwive/GP/Ob about ways they can monitor you and ways to reduce risks. Make a plan with them for if it does become an issue and how you will handle it as a team. For warned is for armed and having a plan will help with the anxiety.
