Making new friends

I've recently had a falling out with a close friend (epic falling out) and as sad as this sounds, I'm not sure where to go from here. I don't make friends easily and haven't had much opportunity to make new friends in the six years since I moved interstate. I find myself feeling incredibly lonely and sad. I'm at SAHM and my kids are too old for the playgroups in my area (4 and 5). How do I meet new friends?? :(

Hobbies like a sewing group or whatever interests you, volunteering at the kids school. If your kids are doing daycare or kindy have they made some friends? Organising play dates is a great way to make friendships.

I am struggling with the same thing. We moved interstate 3 years ago and have struggled to find friends. Our kids areold enough that I don't meet parents at the school gate they walk to their own classes.I feel at work that I'm that I'm between age. I'm 35 and there is the older set whose kids are all grown, the younger set who are partying and I'd love to have someone to have a cheeky wine with or just chill and haved a coffee with. So if you find the answer please let me know

I dont have much advice. I am having the excat same problem. Me and my friend are trying to talk, but after what she did i dont think i cant get over it i still have resentment. And its years of me being a door mat i cant get over ither.

If you are in darwin i would be happy to be your friend.
