Could labour possibly be approaching?

Im 32 weeks pregnant with bub number 2 and last night and most of today, i have experienced what i believe is bub pushing on my cervix/pelvic area, it sends sharp stabbing like pain that only lasts a few seconds but is quite intense. As well as horrendous back pain under my right shoulder blade, and tightening/pulling sensation across my belly...can this pain go on until full term or is it an indication that bub might be arriving a little earlier. I never really experienced any of this with my first pregnancy.

If the pain is horrendous you should speak to your doctor/midwife/hospital. I'd ring now. You shouldn't be in horrendous pain.

I was around 32 weeks with my first when I started having really bad pain, to the point I couldn't even walk, so my mum took me to the hospital to get checked out and turns out it was braxton hicks. I went on to have a very large baby at 42 weeks. He was just giving me a taste of what was to come lol
