Does anyone know of good home remedies or off the shelf stress relief?? I can't use saint johns wort though as it interferes with the pill. So sick of being stressed about money, mess, weight etc and it's all rubbing off on to my kids. I'm just so mad all the time even just at little things and it's making me so guilty!!! I hate being like this. I miss being the fun happy in control mum I used to be!!!

Best stress relief I ever found didn't come in a bottle. Go to Kmart and grab yourself a punch bag and a set of gloves, take it home and wale on that mofo for an hour everyday. Better still - do it to Pink or Pantera, whichever floats your boat.
It won't fix money, but you'll feel better so hopefully might rub off here.
Mess, it will eventually help boost your energy. If they don't yet, get your kids helping with the house/yard. If they can use a smart phone, games console or operate the tv they can handle a vacuum, some washing and tidying up.
Weight, punchbag is exercise and when you're stressed it feels fantastic to use it. Bonus!
It's not going to fix everything but it's a start and from Kmart, not a terribly expensive one :)
Chamoline tea for calmness , Zinc and magnesium ( these are the first to get depleted when stressed) and I feel much better taking them daily. Mediate to healing music will bring inner peace and exercise to release endorphins. Nature walks, find a cheap massage or take a day off work for a "me" day
I will also add a gratitude journal will be great too, find three things a day you are grateful for. The three things you are angry about work on it's ok if it's baby steps for example weight= exercise/ diet. Money= make a list of all the things your money goes towards and see what can be cut out. 52 week challenge is a great savings plan, if you don't earn much income. Mess well if you have kids get them to help and if they refuse, discipline them till they do. Hope this helps
