Camping

My partner and i are planning a camping trip. We have thre girls between us 11,7,5.
We both have tents. We wants the girls to sleep in one tent and the kids in a separte tent. I think there two young. My girls are the younger two. Am I being over the top?

I think they are too young and I'm pretty permissive and pretty free range in my parenting. I was an experienced camping kid and we three girls were allowed to share our own tent without parents when the youngest was 12.
7 and 5 is just too young in my opinion.
I'd allow it if it was a back yard camp out.

If this is your first trip together, I'd suggest you sleep with your kids and him with his daughter. If all 3 girls decide to bunk in together once you're away, and you feel comfortable, then do a switch-aroo
