Pregnancy worries

How likely is it that my first pregnancy will end in miscarriage? I can't seem to relax at all and now am wishing I never found out I'm pregnant because I can't stop worrying constantly. I know this won't help the situation but I just can't stop.

It doesn't happen to everyone, some women are quite lucky and have never had one, others are not so lucky. You don't say how far along you are. I always worried about it when I have been pregnant even so far as up to my until my last scan. You don't say how far along you are. But I can tell you it's quite normal to feel this way. Just try to relax and think positive. It will hurt if it happens but in the end your pregnancy will most likely be successful. The more you stress the worse it is.

Has your doctor given you a reason to think you will have a miscarriage? Or are you at higher risk for a medical reason. If not, its like worrying about a cyclone...it may or may not happen & worrying about it will only increase your anxiety and stress levels which may not be good for your health. I have suffered a miscarriage with my first pregnancy, I am now 21 weeks pregnant with my second and things are going well. Stats say it is 1 in 4 women. I wouldn't worry unless your doctor has given you a reason to. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I'm only 6 weeks along, the doctors haven't given me any reason to think I will MC but after reading statistics it seemed alarmingly high. I have quite a few relatives who suffered MCs so now I'm worrying that I will be the same.

Do. Not. Google.

That is the best advice I can give. You will likely have an appointment in a couple of weeks which should set your mind at ease a bit.
