No she won't! Never. At 18 she will still be doing this ? She will get there eventually. Maybe she has too much stimulation, try turning it all off just leave a fan going for air circulation and to cut out the silence. There needs to be a difference between night and day. Good luck.

How about trying an earlier bedtime? 830 seems awfully late. My son is also 2.5 and he is asleep by 7 at the latest. I find that he has a terrible sleep and wakes numerous times when he goes to bed late.
Worth a shot?

I found the later my kids went to bed the worse they sleep ( still true to this day) our kids have always been in bed at 7. Dinner is at 5 then bath then quiet time then book in bed right b4 7 and lights off. Both mine had a comfort toy too a musical seahorse its tummy lights up. It helps them self settle miss 6 still uses hers. Also big thing tv should be off i find our kids need technology free time for half an hr ot helps their brains wind down as technology stimulates them.

You are amazing, This is so hard!
My son isj ust not a sleeper - he is 4 and doesn't sleep through the night. I find playing classical music helps and no screens on after 5pm made the most improvements however I think some children just don't sleep well. It sucks

My son kept waking me in the night when he transitioned to his big bed. I decided to co sleep with him on a king size mattress on the floor, now we all sleep better. She may need to feel secure at night would you consider co sleeping ? Day sleep should be 1.5 hours and don't let them sleep past 3:30
