Hi Ladies
We have a planned pregnancy but unsure how family payments work these days.. we have other older children which we recieved a lump some of money from centrelink when they were born but understand now its paid parental leave. Can someone please explain it? Hubby works full time I work casually and been at new job for 5 months.

A call to Centrelink to work out your eligibility would be best. You need to have worked a certain amount before claiming PPL and Centrelink would be able to tell you whether you're eligible and for how much.
