Hey, I need some advice on the following:
My husband and myself would like to start trying for a baby in June, we have only just moved to a new area and I'm a bit lost on what I need to do prior to falling pregnant. I'm in for a long road as I have a disorder that only allows a 50% chance of conceiving. If it doesn't happen naturally we will be going through IVF.
My first task will be looking for a doctor to talk to about my future plans, anything else I should start doing or taking for my body to make sure the baby will be healthy?

Definitely find a new doctor, it might take one or two to find one you like. Get your medical records sent to new doctor.
You'll want to start taking folate before you start trying as that reduces the risk of Spina bifida.
But otherwise just eat healthy, and get some exercise, basically things we should be doing to look after ourselves anyway.
Start taking folate and iodine, go in for some blood tests if you like to check iron and vitamin d. Research listeria and stop taking neurofen if possible when you conceive ....

I was going to schedule this question, but instead wanted to recommend a doctor. Just in case someone recommends something that may be harmful to you.
Big hugs! Hope the doctor can help! Wish you well! x
