Has anybody fallen pregnant naturally after IVF?
Our first baby was concieved through IVF but with the ridiculous costs even with privath health I am not sure if we could afford another round and even if we could it took such an emotional and physical toll on both of us i am just not sure we could go through it all again, which breaks my heart. My partner and I both have fertility issues and we were told we had an 8% chance of concieving naturally. I guess I am just wondering if there are any other mummas out there that have been through similar situations and concieved naturally ?.

Nope. We were given a 10% chance of falling pregnant naturally. Our son was IVF 13 years ago and we have never used any form of birth control and have never fallen pregnant. I never went back again because my pregnancy was terrible (bleeding on and off for most of it and low lying placenta) and he was born 6 weeks early. I was stressed from the time our embryos were transferred right up until his birth and I didn't want to go through that again.
I'm not sure exactly of the percentages they were working with but my nephew was ivf and then my niece was natural...
Yes it can happen I have heard of stories that some go through an Ivf cycle once or twice and then fall pregnant naturally
But that will depend on what fertility
Difficulties each couple face
We r going through IVF Now
And r 7 weeks pregnant
Not myself but I have read many accounts of people conceiving naturally after IVF. It can happen :)
One of my old school friends just found out she's pregnant 3 years after her ivf son was born they are over the moon they supposedly only had a 3% chance of conceiving,
My mum also was told her and my dad would never conceive without ivf they had one ivf baby that was still born in 1989, decided not to get their hopes up, had 3 healthy babies in 91, 93 and 96 without ivf xx
