Menstrual cups

I have just bought a menstrual cup Lunette brand and I felt like it was in correct as I didny feel it other than the stem was rubbing on the outside on one side.
I then cut the stem down twice but I begun to feel it inside me I feel like it's in as far as it can go but still feel like a heaviness! I have tried and tried my whole cycle but still no success!
I really want this work but not loving it! Anyone have any magic tips I have the model 2.
