Due to financial reasons my partner, myself, our son and bub number 2 on the way are moving to a remote mining town. When i had our son the hospital was a half hour drive away and it was as easy as that. Now im expecting our second and this baby will most likely be born once we have moved and apparently i get flown from this town to the airport where the hospital is located (12 hour drive away) about 7 days before my due date and then when i get flown there i have to find my own way from the airport to the hospital and then after baby is born and get discharged, have to organise my own way back to the town be that flight or the 12 hour drive with newborn...it all sounds so complicated compared to my first birth experience...has anyone had any experience in this kind of birth and any adadvice to give

Sorry, haven't done it myself but very typical when living in rural settings. It's the way my sister was born!
Make sure you have a plan for your toddler. Will family come and stay to watch him etc?
Theres family in the town that will be able to look after our son, which is a huge bonus
