My lo is 5
She has major tantrums if she doesn't get her way.
She can get violent and aggressive at me and destroys the house
I have tried being calm, getting down to her level, asking why she's acting that way and so on
I've tried yelling at her
I've tried time out- which the last time I tried turned into 4 and a half hrs of non stop chasing her and taking her back to time out and again and again, I watched supernanny to get that tip, apparently consistency is the key, but to me 4 and a half hrs of consistently chasing her through the house to put her on time out I have up.
Currently she has no toys In her room for the past 2 days, nothing but a bed and cupboard of clothes, for the past two days she's been getting into trouble Including detentions at school, so she does chores or spends her afternoons in her room but is still finding ways to be naughty
I'm at my with end
What else can I do?

Time for a full assessment from a child psychologist and peadiatrician. Your GP can refer you. This is more than childhood tantrums and bad behaviour.
