I am at risk of homelessness and don't know what to do. I have a spoken to housing and have submitted everything they need. I have kids with medical needs and can't move too far. I have no debt and being evicted due to the sale of the property. I have been applying for every property I can.
Where will we end up if I can't find somewhere? I have been told hotels or a refuge - does anyone have any experience with these?

Speak to the salvos etc
Yep, go to salvos or Vinnies and ask for help, they can help you deal with housing and may be able to put you in contact with other agencies who can help you in the short term while you wrestle with housing.
Are you in Brisbane,Qld. Im a single mum with 2 kids in a 3brm house but kids and I mostly sleep in the lounge. We could possibly help if you're in Brissy.
You can apply for emergency/ priority housing. Apply for houses with the same real estate too.
