Pregnancy at 38

Pregnancy at 38

I am 38 and my partner (40) and I would love to have a baby together. I have two children from a previous relationship, my youngest is now 6. I guess I am just wondering how/if this pregnancy will be much different, being older? Are there mums out there who are expecting at my age and have you had any problems? Not sure what else to ask, just will everything be ok? I'm actually quite worried, but excited as well! :)

My Ex MiL had a baby at 40, the pregnancy was pretty easy for her, she was a little more drained at the end and her youngest was born pretty darn perfect. I think it took more of a toll on her mentally rather than physically.

Hi! I'm 44 & pregnant with my 3rd child! I had the Harmony Test at 10 weeks & all is well. I am also low risk due to my previous pregnancies (no odema or gestational diabetes).
Considering I was told that conceiving at my age was close to impossible without intervention, so to end up conceiving after 5 months was amazing! And we are all looking forward to meeting our new family member next year!
I wish you all the best xx
