Hey everyone, just wanting some advice or recommendations on the best prepaid mobile smart phones , preferably under $100?
I am wanting to buy a mobile for my son he is going to highschool next year, and I want to be able to have a phone for safety( he will be riding to & from school) and a quick way to interact with me if need be.
I have looked online at Telstra & Optus but can't decide which mobile to buy so any feedback would be muchly appreciated.

I bought an unlocked second hand Samsung Galaxy for about 60 bucks and my son chose Telstra for his pre-paid plan.
I got an Aldi sim for my daughter. Using the $25 large plan, it is a pretty good deal for a teenager. They use the Telstra towers so the coverage seems good.
