Pregnancy after stopping the pill

So i stopped taking the pill about 3 weeks ago as my partner and i are trying for a second child. With my first i fell pregant almost instantly. For the last 2 weeks i have been feeling rather strange, nauseous in the late evening, loss of appetite during the day but hungry at night, sleeping on my stomoch is now uncomfortable ( ive always been a stomoch sleeper ) emotional, i cried because my partner was playing his Playstation when i wanted him to spend time with me.
Did a test this morning and it was negative :(
My only symptom with my first son was really sore nipples. So if i am this is very different.
How long should i be waiting before trying again? I really feel pregnant but the negative test really disappointed me.
