Hi hi.
I've just hit 31 & I've never had trouble with my weight but for a month now I've put 3kg on & I can't shake it off & I've tried to lose it but nothings working. My question is. Is this what it's like now once your over your 30's your body changes?
I'm going to my gp next week to see what's going on with me.
Don't mean to offend anyone who is struggling with weight but this is big for me as its been 10 yrs since my weight has changed

3kgs is nothing and quite normal? If it was continually increasing then it would be a problem
Have a read of Divinas story, she was 30 when she lost weight and had struggled most of her life being over weight before she decided it was time to lose it :)

I'm only 26 and since I had my last bub a year ago, I haven't been able to budge a thing! I eat healthily, I'm active, nothing has worked. My GP is running some tests to see if there's anything causing it. Definitely have a chat to your gp, I feel awful about my weight, it's the biggest I've ever been. If 3kg is bothering you then it's worth investigating x
Just a friendly heads up - you're probably going to get absolutely slammed with negative comments for this question, especially when it's posted to Facebook. I copped it earlier in the year when I asked about weight gain on the Implanon. I had only put on a few kilos as well, and I'm the same as you, weight had never ever been an issue for me and it's only ever fluctuated by one kilo, so all the people that replied with "3 kilos is just a normal bowel movement" really ticked me off cos that's not the case for me! I eat healthy and I'm very active. I'm now 5 kilos heavier than I was and I can't seem to lose it, but I've come to realise it is from the Implanon. There were a lot of really nasty comments on my post and it actually really got to me. So just wanted to warn you, in case your post gets the same response that mine did. Good luck with your gp. If there is some underlying issue for your weight gain I hope they find it :)
