Hi fellow IM's,
Lately I have been feeling very deflated by my parenting skills. My children 6 and almost 3 aren't any more naughty than the next child, but my confidence & the pressure that comes from sole parenting my kids and my short fuse at times has me feeling really sad and incompetent.
I'm interested to know what parenting philosophies and parenting resources such as Triple P, others have tried and tested?
I'm just so exhausted. Their Dad picks and chooses when he'll be involved, but criticises my every move. I just want to raise two functioning members of society, but feel so overwhelmed even by the little things so goodness help me when something big arises.
Any helpful tips, advice and resources would be greatly appreciated.

Triple P and taking breaks for myself which can be difficult as a sole parent, but even an hour every few weeks made a big difference to my mental health.
