Any help would be so very appreciated!

I'm a mother of a little boy who has quite a complex condition therefore he has many days of school, he could be great for two week then be off school sick for a month...
What I'm asking is for some advice as to what I could do to earn more money, I receive the carer payment from Centrelink but with all my sons medical needs plus our general everyday necessities I'm really struggling I'm doing this on my own physically, mentally and financially. Does anyone have any advice on what I could do to get some extra cash? I've thought about making things to sell but I just don't know where to start... I'd love to get a job but who's gonna want to rely on me when my son is so unpredictable. Sorry if this sounds all over the place, I just don't know what to do.

I'm in a similar situation but with an adult son.
Personally I'd look for work you can do from home if you have to. Book keeping etc
If you are going to make something and sell on line it will need to be pretty unique. I've done some research and the market is pretty saturated with SAHM doing similar. Plus the hours it takes to make, cost of materials etc don't really add up to profit.
