I found fruit tingles helped with the nausea feeling (and reflux!!!!) and chewing spearmint or peppermint gum!
I agree. Fruit tingles was the only thing that helped with both my kids. I doubted it and didn't try until about 10wks with first but it did make such a difference
I second chewing gum! Not the sugar free type or it might give you an upset stomach. Not so good for the teeth though :P lasted from week 5-18 for me. I hoot yours goes away soon it is horrible.
My morning sickness went from about 4-20 weeks. I found eating was the one thing that helped. If I got the slightest bit hungry I'd be nauseous and start vomiting. I had horrible food aversions too so just ate whatever I could keep down.
I tried maxalon from the doctor but it made me soo tired that I only took it twice.
I've got 3 kids. Baby 1 and 2 I was sick from 2 weeks until birth for them. Pretty much nothing helped except for cutting out most fats. Eating pretty basic foods being poor didn't help in that situation. Baby number 3 I didn't get sick until week 12 and was sick on and off until she was born. But healthy eating etc was pretty much the only thing that helped. Could occasionally eat tinned spaghetti and toast.
Hydration hydration hydration !!! I had hyperemesis gravederum for all 3 babies which pretty much knocked me around the entire pregnancy . I found the only thing that made me feel 'better' was keeping hydrated and when dehydration severe getting fluid through iv made such a big difference !!!
On a nicer note lots of people survive with only a few weeks of nausea where snacking regularly helps , mint and fruit tingles ! If you like it then try ginger it's meant to help but pretty much just eat what you can when u can . Follow your cravings ! If it's severe (can't keep anything down ) see your dr and try some medications (there are options ) and remember even though it feels relentless and debilitating There is an end to it with an amazing prize !!!! No one can really tell you when yours will ease up or if it will as your body is unique ! Hang in there mumma !!
